Group Classes
Preschool Piano Prep is an unparented group class for our youngest beginners! You can enroll preschoolers age 3-5 to get started in a group setting and build a foundation to prepare them for success in private piano lessons.
Kids will sing, clap, and dance to fun interactive songs that explore the joy of music while developing fine motor skills, music literacy and a respect and love for the piano.

Private Lessons
Most students will use Nancy and Randall Faber’s award winning series of books as a starting point. From there, students are free to explore their musical passions, including learning their favourite pop song or classical music piece, as well as music from Broadway, movies or video games. Composition is always introduced as a way to express creativity while learning. We don’t learn unless we’re having fun, and to have fun, we have to love what we’re playing!
While one-on-one lessons are tailored to the strengths and challenges of individual students, they will usually comprise some or all of the following subjects:
Reading and transcribing music
Composition
Improvisation
Ear training
Theory
Keyboard work
Rhythm training
Singing
Music history
Mindfulness
Recitals
As part of their lessons, students will have an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience twice a year. During these recitals, students can show off what they’ve learned in a supportive environment and celebrate the achievements of their studiomates.
